United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), Istanbul, Turkey

United Nations Children's Fund, is an agency of the United Nations responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. The agency is among the most widespread and recognizable social welfare organizations in the world, with a presence in 192 countries and territories. UNICEF Turkey has been working to protect the rights of children and youth in Turkey since 1951 and focusing on the needs of the most vulnerable children living in Turkey in the fields of education, child protection, health, social policy, adolescence and youth.
ENERGON was chosen as a producer and supplier of lead-acid batteries to organize a back-up of power supply infrastructure for Turkish office of UNICEF. ASTERION Batteries provide redundancy of power supply for the most critical loads like server equipment, IT infrastructure for workplaces.
